Performance and Workshop
What’s life like deep underground? How can one perceive, experience, and navigate complete darkness? How do you embark on a journey to the Earth’s core and, in turn, delve into your inner self?
During the NPAK residence (Araks village), Hana Kokšalová dedicated her efforts to an ongoing exploration of our connection to the enigmatic world beneath our feet. She also worked on the textile elements of the stage environment for her performance centered around this theme. Join us for a sneak peek of this work-in-progress excerpt.
Following the performance, we invite you to participate in a movement workshop. In this workshop, we will delve into the archaeology and geology of the layers of our bodies, examining our profound connection to the Earth’s layers.
The performance will run for approximately 30 minutes, while the workshop is expected to last around 90 minutes. If you wish to take part in the workshop, please wear comfortable attire.
