The Armenian Center for Contemporary Experimental Art NPAK is pleased to announce an open call for performers and cultural professionals to participate in our residency project “Perform with the Community.”

About the Residency
Located in a village with a rich cultural background, Araks village is a borderline village with Turkey,
where the holy river of Armenians, Araks, flows, and the iconic Mount Ararat is seen up close. The residency aims to immerse participants in the local culture, offering a unique opportunity to explore and
create.

Key Objectives

Residency Benefits

Community Engagement: Explore the community, its history, cultural significance, and contemporary situation.
Performance Venues: Present your work in the village’s house of culture and/or at NPAK in Yerevan during our main festival in November.

The selection will be based on applications and interviews, with shortlisted candidates chosen by our artistic board. Key criteria include:

● Alignment of the artist’s application with the residency project theme.
