In April 2024, the program “Contemporary Art Workshops with NPAK,” funded by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, was launched at the Armenian Center for Contemporary Experimental Art NPAK.
The program was intended for students from nine high schools in Yerevan and the RA marzes. The purpose of the project was to acquaint participants with Armenian contemporary art, the activities of NPAK, and existing exhibitions. Workshops were conducted in three areas: an interactive workshop on modern art, an art object and ready-made creation workshop, and a workshop for text development and presentation of artworks.
Students and teachers from nine schools participated in the program.
As a result of the project, 180 participants got to know contemporary Armenian art and created their own art pieces.
