Theatrical and Film director, Producer
Gagik Ghazareh was born in 1973, in the village of Vartenik, Martuni region of the Soviet Armenia. From 1990 to 1995, during the collapse of the Soviet Union, studied at the aculty of cinema of Khachatur Abovyan Yerevan State Pedagogical Institute. From 1993 to 1997 worked at “Aysor” weekly, as a reporter and member of the editorial board. From 1994 to 1995 shot his first debut film in "Hayfilm" Studios. From 1998 to 1999 worked at "Yerevan" Film Studio as Assistant Director. From 1998 to 2000 was a lecturer at the Cinema Department of the Faculty of Culture of Khachatur Abovian Yerevan State Pedagogical University, In 1999 founded Cinema -Theater Group at ACCEA/NPAK. In 2001 he founded
"Npakino" independent film studio to support alternative film production. In 2003 he founded "One Shot" International Short Film Festival and in 2006 "One Square Meter" Theater Festival. He was Associate Commissioner of the Armenian Pavilions at Venice Biennale in 2001 and 2007. 

Author of many films, works of video-art, performances and plays, which have been staged ad screened at different exhibitions and festivals worldwide.
