ANNOUNCEMENT OF NEW RESIDENCY PROGRAM

 

NPAK in the framework of its Residency Program announces a new Program of Internship in cooperation with Birthright Armenia/Depi Hayk Foundation for Summer of 2005 in the following areas:

*      4 Resident Artists: Applicants have to show competence in the fine arts, either by having attended Art School or record of exhibitions.

*      2 persons to teach conversational English to local artists.

*      1 person to conduct promotional work for collecting art-books for the newly established Art Library.

*      1 person to conduct fund-raising from international organizations through the internet for the programs of the Art Center. 

Besides demonstrating capability in the related field the applicant must meet the following criteria:

  1. A minimum stay in Armenia of  two months, working at NPAK for at least 30 hours a week.
  2. Must be of Armenian heritage (at least one grandparent).
  3. Must be in the 18-32 age bracket.
  4. Must have graduated from high school.
  5. Former citizens of Armenia are only eligible if they can prove, by official documentation, that they left Armenia before the age of 12.
  6. Have not previously been sponsored by Birthright Armenia.
